Stock Pick

Please check out China Peregrine (OTC BB: CHPF). It owns 70% of a 50 year National Joint Venture with China National Green Food Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China. It's business is to process, market, and distribute dairy products in the People's Republic of China.

After the bombing of the China Embassy, the stock went from $3.00 to $1.50, but is now climbing back to $2.00.

It signed a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. to introduce a new line of Looney Tunes beverage products utilizing the popular Looney Tunes characters on a line of milk, juice, and yogurt drinks. Also, it recently announced a definitive Agreement with Lance, Inc. to distribute snack foods to China in addition to its dairy products.

It recently filed the SEC form 10KSB and hopes to move up to the NASDAQ when the stock price moves above 4 for a few months to meet the minimum requirement.

The year end audit for 1998 revealed sales growth from $730,000 in 1997 to $2.8 million in 1998. Management anticipates sales of over $8 million for 1999.

This temporarily "beaten down" stock deserves consideration by Cubb Fatt members. Check it out at www.chinaperegrine.com or call Dennis Chapman at (561) 625-1411.
