Why aren't we hearing from the DLJ analyst that told us that AMZN will reach $ 280/share within 12 months (AMZN was in 170's at the time) ? Where is the Merrill Lynch analyst that placed a strong long term buy on AMZN when the stock traded at $ 193 ? ( He did mention that he would not be surprised if we saw some short term weakness-did that mean down $ 70 and counting? ). What are these guys saying now ? The silence is deafening.
