<<IBM took to the desktop market in a big way to take advantage of this lead so a large percentage of their sales increase was likely in desktop units. If you look at their current product offering you will find that they have now limited their offerings to the high end of the desktop market where there is less competition.>> My understanding has always been that IBM was into enterprise, noebook and high end desktop. I don't believe they were too big in low capacity desktop drives. Somehow, I also doubt they will be very far behind in getting to 6.8. -Z
