snackman, The touted chip deal is for WinTV. A TV video card that is an accessory that can be installed in many computers so you can watch TV on your PC. They have been around for years, do you know anyone that has one? Win TV has lots of operating problems with other boards and some computers require you to dis-able the modem to watch TV. (HP for instance) They sold for $200 last time I checked but are probably lower now that the internet has displaced TV for entertainment. Do you know anyone that watches TV on their PC instead of surfing the web? The market doesn't seem that large for an essentially failed technology. cdaiseyPhD@long-now-but-watching.com
