Hi AJ,

I sure hope that the money pump starts flowing into the smaller caps! I've been waiting way too long for it!!! Many of my holdings belong in the 'small cap' category and I also have a substantial small cap fund holding. both have been treading water pretty much since tech stocks declined after the Sept. '95 thrashing. There's been some profitable trading in the mean time, but overall, the trend has been quite flat.

Let's keep our eyes peeled for signs. If the market pulls off a shift to small caps without queering the S&P500 I'll be amazed. The valuations of the NASDAQ 100 and S&P500 are outrageous on a Price/Book Value basis. BUT, the money pump continues to flood the market with new $$$$$ every week. My buddy is a wholesaler with a big mutual fund family and the numbers he gives me on monthly retirement contributions flowing into funds is almost beyond belief. It's confirmed time and again by articles in BARRONS and other papers that the rush is on for BOOMERS to get invested for retirement.

Let's hope they also buy computers with lots of IDTI's memory chips in them!!!
Best regards,
Tom
