Clarence was right, DI and PM do different things. In a perfect world you would never need PM to modify partitions on an existing drive. But no matter how much you plan and think about how to partition that new 25 gig IBM drive you just bought, you always have a need to change it later. Also PM is indispensable when setting up multiple primary partitions on a drive. It is also the only was (or at least the easiest) to get NT booting on a larger than 4 gig partition.

I wish Powerquest would come out with a mongo, complete, all encompassing utility combining PM, DI, Lost and Found, Drive Copy, Boot Manager, that would do it all.

IMHO, on any large drive with multiple OSes, PM is a necessity, as is DI.
