This flurry (heck, it's a blizzard) of "the upturn is just around the corner", from the usual always-wrong sources (Dataquest et al), coming as it does right after option expiration, is enough for me to suggest that it's a pump-and-dump, but of covered-call option premium.

I say we don't close above 35 at June expiration, and closer to 30 than 35. Just guessing right now, though. More detailed graph-reading, paranoid fantasies, etc. in a few days.
