Art, IBO's (Incentive Based Options) are taxed horribly as ordinary income to the combined tune of at least 42%... assumes 5% state tax like in Massatwoshits... if very lucrative, then you are into next tax bracket as in 45% combined or higher... one cannot purchase IBO options... they are part of the American Business Gravy Train, subsidized by the IRS, and whose dilution is tolerated by stockholders

employees are forbidden to trade options in the open market for their own company... against most company's house rules and grounds for dismissal... certainly is forbidden at mine

prudent strategy is to cash in employee IBO options, pay the piper in taxes, and buy stock with proceeds... sit back and enjoy the ride, perhaps increase holdings on margin after dips like current one, where the price of gasoline and tobacco threatens the wireless business

then retire very young indeed

glad to hear CFO refuted WallStJ hack article and guided earnings expectations... the fire sale continues... if valued like Cisco versus its earnings growth rate going forward, we would be over 200 now

meanwhile back at the kettle... it boils
