BC:Gates invested not gave $ to cables. Look at his return on Comcast. He will experience a similar return on T. He has done very well with his AAPL investment. The reason he has done this is to increase bandwidth. If the Bells weren't pushed ADSL would never see the light of day for the next 3-5 yrs. Wintel will do very well in this market place. Are the kids going to let Dad chat on SI while they are watching TV. This whole thing is nuts. Japan experiencing month to month double digit gains in CPU sales. Europe is coming back from a big slump. And of course there is Asia(ex Japan) that seems to be returning to the market place. The PC has been declared dead or in decline very year for the past decade. This is a henny penny market. Check the volume this a big drop for such modest volume. MM's are taking this thing down by large strokes as the little guy rushes for the door. JFD
