DJ, the International Trade Commission, an autonomous government agency, must find that Taiwanese Drams harmed the U.S. industry if the duties are to be collected.

What harmed "the U.S. industry" more over the last several months:

A. chips from Taiwan

or

B. what was left of "the U.S. industry" going on a production rampage in a high-risk gambit to drive a stake in the heart of marginal players - a gambit that was all but assured to drive pricing down and in the short-term have adverse consequences on firm performance?

Dow Jones had a great quote from a spokesperson:

"There definitely has been a ramping up of Taiwanese production that the market didn't warrant."

And what about your own production?

What about the suit brought by the Taiwainese against Micron and other U.S. operations?

Good trading,

Tom
