Jack, something occurred to me, it is easy to "spike" with gold and possibly Pd, but it is damn difficult to do it with Pt and Rh. Another simple fact also occurred to me and that has to do with the inquarts, what are they inquarting with gold only (rartional) or the combination of the four elements? Rh and Pt will not melt at the temperatures that they are smelting at, until it is dissolved in the copper (and I do not have the phase diagram before me, but even then the melting will not be that easy), so why use Rh and Pt for inquarts, thus I doubt they are used as inquarts and thus their presence is probably not from inqartation. If any one can shed light on these musing, I would appreciate it.
