Agreed! As long as the manna from heaven continues to flow, no one will complain. That is why it will be interesting to watch if the deflation scenario really happens. My assumption is that the politicians would NOT want the deflation scenario. They would probably like to keep the bull alive FOREVER..... What can they do to push in that direction? More surprise rate cuts? "Invest social security funds" (where are they?) in the stock market? Any chance they will be able to get their hands on the SS money? Or will they just make "bold statements" about it just as the market looks like El Tanko? THC
