NDC eCommerce, PSINet and WorldPay to Deliver First End-to-End Store Front Internet Solution for Merchants Around the World

ATLANTA, May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- NDC eCommerce, a leading Internet-related information network company, today announced a new strategic alliance with commercial Internet services provider PSINet, and UK-USA based WorldPay plc. The three leading Internet commerce providers will launch the first complete worldwide end-to-end credit and debit eCommerce solution that includes Internet connectivity, web hosting, store building capability, shopping cart applications, and direct business to business transactions in over 120 currencies.
NDC eCommerce initially plans to launch these services to its hundreds of thousands of retail merchants across North America who are looking to expand distribution through the Internet as well as to virtual merchants selling exclusively via the Internet.
NDC's comprehensive virtual storefront solution called E-Commerce in a Box(C), enables merchants with no programming skills to build their own eCommerce store or integrate into an existing website in under 48 hours, using WorldPay's "Click and Build."
Internet access, website graphics and design services, software, turnkey PC support and hardware leasing will be components of the merchant package.
E-Commerce in a Box uses PSINet's global IP network and hosting facilities, WorldPay's store building "click and build" software and secure multi-currency processing capabilities and NDC's secure payment processing technology.
