Don: re -
"I swear, I hear that FNTN may be transforming itself into something entirely different than what we had thought."

I give you NCR (cash registers), IBM, State Farm Insurance, Xerox, GE, AT&T, 3M (Minnesota Mining).. even Heinz (which once sold horseradish, exclusively). All of these Fortune 500 companies and thousands of others have evolved light years beyond their names and/ or well beyond their original purposes.
Today, everything moves figuratively and literally at the speed of light. A 100-year transformation now happens in 100 minutes - even in within an established giant like Siemens - and a company's emergence from a No-Name to an industrial titan seems to happen in seconds - Global Crossing, Yahoo, Teligent to name a select few.
Transformation is not unusual - it's what it's all about.
Where she stops, nobody knows..
And does anybody really want it to stop in the first place?
