Announces Appointment of Chief Financial Officer
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- ConnectInc.com (Nasdaq: CNKT - news) announces that Kevin J. Berry has joined the company as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, effective Monday, May 24, 1999.
Mr. Berry formerly held positions as Vice President Finance, Treasurer, Secretary and Chief Financial Officer for Award Software International, a Nasdaq listed company that develops and markets software to manufacturers of personal computers and embedded systems. While at Award he led their IPO, managed investor relations, directed M&A activity which led to two acquisitions in 1997, and provided leadership for the company's merger with Phoenix Technologies. Prior to that, he was Vice President Finance for Chyron Corporation, a NYSE manufacturer and developer of graphic systems and software. Mr. Berry holds a B.S. in Finance and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
