I think Michael is smarter than Gates (or at least his equal). I've read on both men. I've never read a book on a CEO which more impressed me (and I've read a ton - 250 college credits and 20 years years hence). One point is that all businesses, he believes, are converging so that distinction will become difficult, i.e., Dell is planning on moving into other competenties
