OT OT That was a totally ignorant statement to make. [that the Chinese do not value human life as much as the west]...But to say they value lives very little is not the same thing. [as spending less money per life because the Chinese have less money to spend per person]

Come on Maurice, you put up a straw man. You've taken the reasonable the much more reasonable statement that the Chinese do not value human life as much as western culture and exaggerated it for the sake of having an easy target. While I make no claims to understand the current Chinese mindset, it is certainly true that different cultures put a different value on life. The Japanese in WW-II are the perfect example. Whole civilian populations committed suicide rather than suffer the humiliation of surrender. And, if I remember correctly, either modern day China or India has a much higher infanticide rate [of girls] than the west.

I seriously do think the embassy bombing was deliberate.

Maurice, the Limbaugh-of-the-left. And maybe Clinton's henchmen did murder all those people. As Carl Sagan used to say, 'extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence'.
