Burton,
How would you know if insiders bought shares on Friday? After all, a 100K buy represents only $4K USD, not a big deal.
With respect to timber shortages that you refer to, where do you get the impression that there is any timber shortage anywhere? Do you mean very specific types of timber and if so, again, are you sure about shortages? If this were true, one would have thought that the leases would have been put to use a long time ago.
On the CON side, I agree with you that the basics are not yet in the public domain. If some of the posts are true about the o/s number of shares are correct (roughly 15mm), this would give a market cap for VCAH of about $1mm USD. We don't know that value of the assets moved into the joint venture with Veamco, but it sounds as if the market is saying that the wood is far from being harvested/sold/joint ventured/whatever. I suspect that the company will have to raise funds to stay alive and develop itself.
In any case, after three wasted press releases early in the year, I hope they won't repeat their amateurish handling of investor relations. |
