Morgan, Can there be a lot of share buyback activity by MSFT in the last couple of days?
I bet they are thrilled with the decline in the net stocks because if it continues this way, MSFT might actually be able to make some great acquisitions/investments---with either MSFT shares or cash. It is another reason for wanting a strong stock price---unlike their old philosophy. That is why I believe are aggressive in share buybacks at this stage. I would not be surprised to see much more repurchases this quarter than at any time in the last couple of years.
