Registry Magic Signs Worldwide Distribution Agreement with Tadiran Telecom
-- International Telecom Manufacturer Adds Virtual Operator Speech Recognition to its Product Line --
BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 25, 1999-- Registry Magic® (Nasdaq:RMAG - news) announced today that Tadiran Telecommunications Inc (TTI), a worldwide leader in advanced telecommunication solutions, has signed a definitive agreement to market and sell the Virtual Operator®, a Registry Magic speech recognition telephony product. The agreement allows TTI to distribute the Virtual Operator through their extensive domestic and international network of distributors. TTI is currently merging with ECI Telecom Ltd. (Nasdaq:ECILF - news).

''Based on our thorough analysis, we found Registry Magic's technology and product to be the leader in accuracy, simplicity, functionality and price performance,'' said John Dabnor, Director of Business Development for TTI. ''Speech recognition is quickly emerging as a 'must have' technology for our leading edge customers. We are pleased to distribute the Virtual Operator to address this tremendous opportunity.''

''TTI is a very strong distribution partner for Registry Magic'', said Bill Burbank, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Registry Magic. ''We are excited to expand the sales of the Virtual Operator through their extensive distribution coverage, complementary products and commitment to customer service.''

The Virtual Operator is an award-winning telephone solution that uses proprietary speech recognition technology that listens, understands, and responds to a caller's conversational request. Capable of answering simultaneous calls, the Virtual Operator eliminates placing callers on-hold and allows callers to reach an employee or department quickly by just saying their name without the need for inefficient touch-tone menus. Named a 'National Treasure' by the Smithsonian Institution, the Virtual Operator can save a company thousands of dollars in operational costs, improve customer service and enhance corporate image. Used internally, the Virtual Operator can be used as a voice activated directory for an organization. Internationally, where touch-tone technology may not be prevalent, the Virtual Operator can provide voice activated telephone automation enabling advanced applications not available by other means.

Registry Magic is a leader in the commercialization of speech recognition technologies. The company's offerings listen and understand naturally spoken words in performing repetitive employee tasks to improve operational efficiencies, personal productivity and customer satisfaction.
