Certified by whom? I suppose they mean certified by GM. They've been testing
the car since 94'. They have recently, (a year ago) reduced the size of some of
their electronics. Does that mean that every change in their electronics will
require additional certification?

Excuse before this was they were holding back the release in order to have
more Gen two vehicles with NiMH batteries for a big public event and PR
release. (From their marketing Dept.)
Two and a half years and in my opinion we have never received a straight
answer to any question. Remember the GM S10s with NiMH have been in service for over a year.
