Everyone loves the Hybrid. Oil companies and auto industry, too. After all it not only has one propulsion system, it has two. More complex, more parts, it uses oil principally, and as it is a fairly innocuous vehicle it will not threaten anyones business as usual. They pollute a bit less but carbon Dioxide spills out as usual. It is a perfect distraction from the real problems and the real solutions which is alternative fuels and zero pollution accomplished today only with electric (battery driven) vehicles. I along with many others believe that fuel cells are another distraction that will not come into commercial reality for a very long time. This allows much more time for these industries to rake in the dough with their gas polluters. Think I'm wrong (or worse) Comments please.
