Michael,

It's easier to generalize the breakdown this way:

wager amount: $1.00
repayment to winners $0.50
recoupment to vendor $0.25
--------
net win to franchisee:$0.25 (less chargeback encumbrances, advertising, miscellaneous)

Contracts are variable and results from actual sporting events will vary in that some will exceed this breakdown, in other instances lines will become unbalanced and the book pays out more than it takes in. So, the overall average for a sportsbook operation should look something like the above. Casino operations tend to be less as a higher percentage of intake is paid out. The bottom line is 15% give or take as net profit for an Internet business model is not at all bad. Starnet bases its financial calculations on each licensee contributing $500,000.00 each to the company for the first consecutive 12 months. Obviously, if these licensees in the aggregate approach CSIN's projections to investors of somewhere in the millions, which IMO is very ambitious Year 1, Starnet has underestimated its potential return by a very wide margin.
