ajs, sorry to be so late in responding to your question about why I believe restricted shares become unrestricted one year after the initial registration. Was busy with my dog (the real one) and will now answer.

Will not print the Company name (you can find it if you want), but here is the comment made: "began publicly trading on March 31, 1998. Usually, 144 shares become free trading one year after issuance."
