Here is a from Motley Fool lunchtime news: Rechargeable lithium battery researcher Valence Technology (Nasdaq: VLNC) powered up $11/16 to $7 7/8 after the company reported its first shipment of lithium polymer battery components to its joint venture partner in Korea. The order marks the first shipment from a new Valence plant in Northern Ireland. This should raise some awareness. mhs
