DiViT. No, C-Cube does not need this market. But it points out a problem. Like you mentioned, C-Cube currently derives a good portion of it's revenue from a commodity business, decoders. When you're out trying to sell your company, it may be difficult to justify a real premium because of this. It's not worth $2 billion.

BTW, I sold my entire CUBE position at $28 after holding it for three years. I just broke down and almost broke even. It was a substantial position.

If you're looking for price appreciation, Oracle looks much more attractive at $25 than C-Cube. Hopefully Alex will do the right thing though.
