For those who care about such things it's interesting to see that on an intraday basis we just barely closed the small rising window of mid-March (windows provide areas of support/resistance). Though the window was small, it was somewhat important (according to traditional candlestick theory) because it was preceded by three days of spinning tops, i.e. days of little price fluctuation, which indicate an area of consolidation. Traditional candlestick theory also holds that corrections go back to the window; once the window has been closed it's important to look at what happens to volume. If volume dries up at the window then support should remain, but if volume keeps up through the window, it's buh-bye to the next area of support. Looking at a 5 minute intraday freebie chart here you see that strong volume took it down to the window sill and then volume dried up.
