The mergers between telco's and cable companies is happening now! I don't have the time but search "cable modems" and you will see atleast 10 recent news articles regarding this. The cable companies need more cash and the telco's have it. The cable companies will sell interest to the telco's for assistance and form joint ventures, this way everyone makes money! ISDN was not designed for home use. Very expensive, they charge by the minute. A normal home user could rack up $100-$200 per month if they are a frequent user. Aloha Aloha
