MedcomSoft signs agreement with Philippine conglomerate
MedcomSoft Inc MDCM Shares issued 17,833,333 1999-05-21 close $1 Tuesday May 25 1999 Mr. Sami Aita reports MedcomSoft Inc. has signed a teaming agreement with Benpres Holdings Corporation, one of the largest conglomerates in the Philippines. The two organizations will jointly pursue opportunities to implement MedcomSoft's leading edge MedWorks software in the Philippines' health care sector. The first project under development is a nationwide health claims network. MedcomSoft and Benpres are working to move into a full joint venture in the near future.
"This teaming agreement provides MedcomSoft with an exceptional infrastructure that will assist us in our penetration efforts in the Far East markets," said Sami Aita, MedcomSoft's chief executive officer. "Benpres is a highly respected and influential partner that can open doors for our company and products, not only in the Philippines, but throughout Southeast Asia. Sharing their information technology resources and infrastructure will also allow us to more easily develop and customize products for this market."
