Hi Keith
You should have a look at our service as well:
carlsononline.com
ONe of the advantages is the ability to filter all releases by industry group or exchange at carlsononline.com

We receive real time feeds from ISDN (now called BCE Emergis E-News Services) and CNW, and a slightly delayed feed from CCN. The 3 feeds are blended together on one page. (CCN is delayed because we FTP in every 10 minutes, so we could be up to 10 minutes behind the time)

There is a fourth service qualified for ME company releases called Telbec (?), but they are small and I do not believe they have an internet presence.

Both ASE and VSE allow their listed companies to use one of CNW, CCN, ISDN, Market News or Stockwatch for releases. The first three charge the company for carrying a release (from $100 to $500 depending on length and type of distribution), whereas Market News and Stockwatch accept releases for free and then charge the end user to view them. CNW, CCN, and ISDN cover perhaps 70 to 80% of daily releases. You can view them all for free at their web sites, or our site. For the final 20 to 30% of small caps, you'll have to pay one way or another.

Stockwatch is slow because they run an editorial service rather than a full text media service. They receive a release and then re-key it with their own editorial comments.

Cheers,
David
