This is a post from David Sirk on the VTPI thread #4212 Is this Libel or Slander? Joe PTG&LI !!! Well, probably libel, since it's written. But, since you'd be considered a public figure (based on your board here, being sought out by the media for your opinion, etc), it'll be harder for you to prove. You have to prove that the David knew the statements were false, made them with actual malice, or was negligent in saying or writing them. A little tougher for you than me. At the very least, his statement is unnecessary and uncalled for. I've always appreciated your honest advice, dd, and criticism. Wish there were more like you and less like Sirk. Thanks again.
