Gee Michelle, you really are a glutton for punishment. Why try to swim against the current? Did you know that if you total the returns on the market made over the past 20 years for holding from May 1st through October it equals to only about 20% total? The return for holding stocks the opposite part of the year equals over 1600%! I heard that on CNBC so it must be the absolute truth. Well, I haven't confirmed the numbers but it generally jives with several seasonality studies - after the run up in tech and speculative stocks through the winter and early spring it is net downhill. Only those who fetish pain, IMO, try to work against the grain.
