Open question for the thread: With many investors receiving margin calls today and tomorrow that must be dealt with in three trading days--Friday and Monday after the close--do you think the fund managers will sit back and wait for further drift (plummet, freefall, deathspiral, what-have-you) before stepping in to buy? It seems to me that no amount of good news can help the internets in the very short term. In fact, I'm trying to imagine what would swing us out of this, and I can't think of anything. I guess this means they'll have to turn off the internet and close up shop next week.
