Stefan, glad to keep to hear you're enjoying my postings. You're right, I'm no expert on Ross and have the losses to prove it.
My questions about the Viper chip are just that, questions. I'm not sure how it will fit into Ross's future, what value it will be to an industry full of processors, and when it's available to earn money. All my opinions are just based on what I read as an investor. I'm not in the business.
I must admit, I don't know what will happen and I'm hoping to get some discussion going. I think that the procedure for bankruptcy, which is a possible outcome for Ross, is to distribute assets to creditors first, followed by shareholders. Therefore, with Ross's debt, they won't have much left for us. Us includes Fujitsu and Sun if they still hold their shares.
Fujitsu is also a major creditor, therefore, I speculate they can have the what they want from Ross without sharing anything with the other 35% ownership. So, maybe they can invest in the company and still bankrupt it and get what they want???
Please tell me I'm crazy and why. I really hope Ross recovers and I regain some of my losses.
Also, there as such a crazy bull mentality around Ross while they were absolutely crapping out. I guess I also need to reread posting to see who was really able to see Ross's demise and ask them what the future holds, if they are still interested.
