With all due respect, I suspect that you have little understanding of what gives DELL it's competitive advantage, when it makes earnings gains of 40%+ where others lose money in the PC business. Other than GTW of course. Now, does this suggest a pattern and it is not what you sell, but how you sell, perhaps?
As for LT views, may be our expectations differ, but if DELL equity appreciates at just the rate of it's projected EPS growth (35% according to Zacks for the next 5 years, with a present PEG of little over 1) then it is a great LT hold IMO. Now, if you want to discuss the 35% figure, or you want to propose a different valuation metric for growth companies, that's a different issue.
