SFD, i am a brown customer and have been one for over 2 years now. if you're a daytrader you can't beat the commissions at brown but many times the execution is far from desirable. i've had many arguments with brown over filled market prices and this is on stocks like msft. i can understand getting a bad price on stocks like yhoo and the likes but msft is so liquid you should never get a price that far off from the bid or ask. one thing about brown is they have very good margin rates if you will be carrying a margin balance. but i guess the trade off for low margin rates and low commissions is questionable executions. in the last year, there have only been about 3 times that i could not place a trade on their website when i wanted to. remember folks, it's never too late to buy msft!!
