Unfortunately improbable events DO occur..... I was caught out by the relatively late in the day decline.... Back to the drawing (charting) board. As far as a trading range goes - this is only as low as the mid-April decline in the SPX. Using my other TA method. A number above 1 is a buy or sell depending on context. Here is SPX since a sell signal on 13 May: 5/13/99 1367.56 1.18 5/14/99 1337.8 0.34 5/17/99 1339.49 0.32 5/18/99 1333.32 0.39 5/19/99 1344.23 0.38 5/20/99 1338.83 0.33 5/21/99 1330.29 0.44 5/24/99 1306.65 0.73 5/25/99 1284.4 1.06 Again this is just statistics and improbable events DO occur.
