Stock Market Logic author Fosback refers to it as "usually spans 50 years from beginning to end, accounts for all major swings in commodity prices and economic boom-bust cycles in capitalistic systems.

The 50 year cycle peaks in the U.S. Wholesale Price Index chart
( 1800-1974) in Fosback's book appear to have been 1920's,
1860's, 1810's.

I believe the most recent peak was 1980.
