I'll start. I heard a radio commercial the other day where the ad concerned a book filled with quotes. The one that struck me was: don't raise your voice; reinforce your argument. I thought that was an excellent and pithy piece of advice, and particularly appropriate on SI, where emotions sometimes run high and ad hominem attacks cloud intelligent discussion. mph
