Marie.... here's the scoop on CGIX

Talked to CGIX CFO, John Manzetti today. Highlights:

--Company progressing well--according to things planned. John is VERY
conservative as you know so wouldn't give details of operations.

--Asked about confusing charge in first quarter for taxes. John says
this always comes up when they talk to investors and is hard to
understand;but essence is they pay NO INCOME TAX. The $.06 shown for
ist Q provision, along with provisions for next two will be shown as
income on last Q statement. Last year the last quarter add on for
this amounted to $.52. This year he couldn't say how much (got to be
more as I see it).

--I asked about more analyst coverage and he said they are working
with several additional ones but have none covering as yet beyond the
two we know about.

--I asked about efforts to increase shareholder value; they have done
some road shows but will step up pace major early June ones in Boston,
N.Y., SF, several other cities.

--they will have "more than a couple press releases soon" He wouldn't
say on what but tone of voice favorable.

--Yes they are helping clients on year2000 date problem but this
doesn't represent a large segment of their work.

--their hiring plans continue at brisk pace. this to me is key sign
of prosperity since they wouldn't hire without contract to charge
against.

Overall, I'm more comfortable now having this info. I impressed on
him that I as shareholder wished they would get more exposure to
investment coomunity so as to maximize value. He said they are
trying hard. Sooooooo.....I"m holding.

I'll be spending summer at my place in Ocean City Md. But I'll have
my computer there so can keep up (on cloudy days).

best......Bill
