I think you are correct about a gap up in heavily margined securities. Many people are looking for any pop to get out of their margin call, or at least minimize the damage. The brokers have been up all night making the calls and people will be scrambling tomorrow to get out at any price better than today's close, IMO. A gap up will be met with selling, I suspect. Anyway, Nas futures up +8.00 (given today's 72 point loss) is probably good for about a 3/8 gap up anyway. ForeverDell
