Guys, I may be missing something here, but, if the money is for real with Formosa Plastics, this is one of the hottest stories to come along in a while. ECD has had a good relationship with FP. In fact, I believe the founder of FP tracked down an ECD employee, a Taiwanese-American, who wrote a column in Taiwan extolling EVs as a solution for pollution in that very smog-fogged island. This contact led to the initial license. What I don't know is how long ago that all occurred or how current the rapport is.
These guys are talking about 500,000 EVs in six years. If it's real, and we're in, we are all made guys. If it's real, and we're out, we are a very sorry lot. If it's not real, let's find that out and get past the distraction. |
