That's a great script for the next few days.

I lean more toward your first scenario, ie, market based and rally from this sell off 1285/1290 and dead cat bounce up to 1318 to 1340 areas before the next sell-off hit again with greater ferocity and estabished at nice bottom around 1230 for a summer rally.
