price he bought at, maybe not
for example if he got IPO price, he may want to keep gains
if he got in at higher than current price he may want to carefully see what the floor is...and he may hold if he thinks this is floor
up to him
but i think that 'holding through thick/thin' is not my style, may work for others, if that is your thing, read my posts but don't put too much weight on them
