How many times did franklin forward split their stock in the last seven years ???? See the table below. These figures are taken from franklin's S-1 filed 4/9/97.

Weighted average number of shares outstanding.
1992 = 5,661,512
1993 = 5,736,512
1994 = 5,753,589
1995 = 6,475,894
1996 = 10,279,281

>>>>>>During the year ended June 30, 1994, the Company declared a 1-for-10 reverse stock split. Accordingly, all share and per share information has been retroactively restated to reflect the reverse split. The Company has not declared dividends since its inception.

The figures below were taken from franklin's filing of their 10Q 4/29/99 for the quarter ending 3/31/99.

Weighted average number of common shares outstanding = 25,858,081.
I would hope that the 25,858,081 shares are including the recent 6,254,000 shares recently registered, but frankly I am not sure if they are.

My question to you again is, how many forward stock splits during the past seven years have there been.

I refer you again to Mr. Roger Bass's eloquent explanation regarding diluted shares.

I do know one thing for sure, when, in the stocks that I do own, the shares outstanding continue to increase, I want to see forward stock splits along with a rising share price. IMO, that is the only way an increase in shares outstanding is justified.
