I am not trying to pick apart your faith or your arguments. I ma sure that by now you realize that I have no problem with whatever path you choose, as long as it brings happiness and security to you, your family, and those around you.
That said, I do want to ask you a question.

doesn't it bother you to see things written that essentially tell you not to think for yourself? God gave us the gift of thought, logic, and curiosity. Are we not to use those gifts? Are we not to examine our beliefs, to make sure that they live up to scrutiny? How else are we to truly learn and believe?
