One of the many deficiencies about the way GPGI is run is the lack of up to date financial data. To my knowledge the last official count was around 26 million and I believe that includes the 6 million shares which are due to come back to treasury. Jensen has been issuing shares all along to keep afloat and so the count is probably closer to 28 million by now.

As far as the float goes nobody really has a handle on that. Jensen has avoided debt by financing with repeated private placement offerings of restricted shares. When these have been released and in what quantity is uncertain. My best guess would be that there are 12-14 million shares floating. But this is pure guess.

Thor is actually more correct than he knows when he suggests that at current price levels the company would be well advised to buy back its shares.

Regards, Ed
