Hi Janice - I agree with your overview but what impact do you see for the DOW and MSH index if Greenspan decides to raise rates? Did you notice that the semi and disk drive companies rallied today? I see rates up in next eight months and as a result the DOW to stableize in here, with a correction of 5%. For Novell, a rate increase should be positive as all that cash can now generate a higher return. Hoewever the foreign markets need to gain strength against the dollar and higher U.S. rates may help this as well. If the dollar is a bit weeker relative to other currencies, perhaps Novell's foreign sales will pick up.

I would like to see a stiff correction in the DOW but when the Bull is running you must step aside and let it run......

Any forecast on MS with it's rich PE?

As far as Novell....well??? I guess we will test new lows and must look at volume to see if at some price (7's or 8's or 9's) 'significant' buying occurs. Today the on-balance volume was to the sell side about 2 to 1. I am reviewing TA trends and those candlesticks and wil post any relevant information. I sure hope BrainShare brings in some positive news. Somewhere in here this stock is a screaming buy but those institutions still feel that it is a sell at these levels. Where do we buy? I know at $6.00....I will mortgage the house, liquidate all other assets and buy just for the liquid assets in the Novell portfolio.
