Sam, I am not smart or learned enough to determine if someone else's path is wrong for them. I can only try to determine if my own path works for me.
Right now, I would certainly say that my own path is not one of a Judeo-Christian origin. It does not seem to hold any turth for me. that said, I would not discourage anyone else from following that, if that is what they think will bring them closer to God.
A question for you, my friend.
If someone feels that a Judeo-Christian path is right for them, isn't it possible that it is a path of discovery they must explore in this lifetime? It is hard for me to believe that the same path is the one that is needed for every individual. we all come from different place in our lives, with different needs, attributes, traits, and problems.
I am not so sure that ultimately, whatever path we take, we end up at the same place. It just might take some path s sooner or longer to get there. Sort of an express vs. scenic route :-)
