AOL to use Gemstar technology for AOL TV
DULLES, Va., May 25 (Reuters) - America Online Inc. (NYSE:AOL - news) on Tuesday said it will partner with Gemstar International Group Ltd. to develop programming guides for AOL TV, the Web giant's new Internet television venture.

Under a long-term licensing agreement, AOL will work with Gemstar to develop and deploy AOL TV electronic programming guides. These guides will enable members to sort programs by themes or categories and select shows for viewing or recording.
